Studio interior design Volée was born a year ago from the creative symmetry of three young, full of imagination and enthusiasm designers – Simona Stoyanova, Desislava Lazarova and Sabina Kurteva. One of their recent projects is Affaire En Pastel – an apartment converted by eclectic approach in a beautiful and functional living environment – a pleasure to stay.
The spaces in this apartment seems to flow from one to another. The living room covers several areas with its inherent functions. One of them is the kitchen area. Here, as throughout the apartment color palette is refined so that it suggests color variety, but thrifty and in moderate way. The designers from Volée selected small plates in basic white and their additional color plates as accent. This, combined with the pastel blue complements all the colors in the interior.
One of the most attractive elements in the interior of the apartment, is the rack at the entrance, which is made from tree branch specially treated by the designers of Volée. They use the same branches as an accent in the bedroom, where they are turned into wardrobe handles. This delicately highlights the client’s preference of natural materials. Unique and interesting solution is the cabinet in the bedroom, made of suitcases – intended as a reference to the client’s enormous passion for traveling – a source of countless emotions, memories, tastes.
The interior design of the apartment Affaire En Pastel managed to create a special place (complying with the client’s requirements) – a complete antithesis of busy lifestyle. The adundance of white in combination with pastel colors bring a sense of spaciousness, the tree brings warmth and comfort, and the small colorful details in textiles and accessories tell long stories about traveling to Mexico and bring life and great mood.
The resulting atmosphere in the interior is a modern adaptation of “Zen” style in the search for clean lines and simplicity and the feeling of complete relaxation. In the apartment Affaire En Pastel you can find refuge, to rediscover yourself, to immerse in pleasant activities and completely “turn off” the surrounding city.
