The Lebanese restaurant Al Sultan located in the very heart of London, has been welcoming its elite clients for more than 30 years.
In 2015, as part of a whole renovation of the restaurant, our company went through this flooring project, in cooperation with IDEA design studio. The main idea, is a perfect mixture of traditional Islamic patterns and decorations, and contemporary European aesthetics for achieving more approachable and modern design.
We used a hexagonal pattern was chosen for the bespoke wenge and walnut sunburst parquetry reminiscent of traditional Islamic ornamentation.
